Apple Cinnamon Scones

Full of apple and cinnamon flavor, these grain free scones are perfect for a brunch or late afternoon snack.

Ingredients
- 3 cups almond flour
- 1/2 cup coconut flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 Tbsps cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 2 egg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large apples, grated
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Combine the dry ingredients in large bowl and mix well. Whisk the coconut oil, maple syrup, egg, and vanilla together and add it to the dry ingredients.
- Mix well until you have a dough and add the apples.
- Transfer the dough to a clean surface and cut into circles using a cookie cutter (or simply cut into triangles.)
- Lay on a baking sheet and bake until browned and firm. Cool before serving.
